This, and much more, is exactly what JK Machinery, s. r. o., which has been focusing on post-harvest grain treatment for almost twenty years, offers its customers. The company manufactures equipment for cleaning and sorting of agricultural crops, provides realization of complete post-harvest lines and special technologies. It sells its products both in the Czech Republic and abroad. At the same time, exports make up the majority of turnover.
As the business director and co-owner of the company Ing. Michal Kukula, the area of post-harvest cleaning represents the main source of turnover for JK Machinery. “We offer technologies for the processing of agricultural crops such as cereals, oilseeds and others, both in the classic version for direct use in the food industry and before oil pressing,” says Ing. Kukula. Another area is machinery for de-stoning of crops prior to subsequent processing, and mechanization for calibration and sorting of materials, even outside the agricultural sector, is also a significant part of the company’s turnover, for example, calibration and sorting of plastics, removal of scrap from fuel pellets, etc. Organic farmers are faced with a whole range of impurities in the final crop, the structure of which is complicated and can account for up to 60% of the total volume of harvested material. 99% purity is often required,” points out Ing. Kukula to the specifics of this segment. He adds that special complex solutions for complete lines are in demand especially from abroad, from countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Finland or Great Britain. We must not forget about technologies for the production of feed or sowing seeds, the Czech company is also able to produce and deliver these devices to customers in a short time.
JK Machinery offers Cleaners JCC Vibro-Compact for pre-cleaning, cleaning, fine cleaning and sowing seed production with an output of up to 15/10 tonnes per hour (pre-cleaning/cleaning) as well as powerful Modular Cleaners JCM VibroMAX with an hourly output of up to 200/90 tonnes (pre-cleaning/cleaning). Small seeds and sowing seeds are sorted by air-sieve sorters, pneumatic tables and concentrators which sort the material on the gravity principle. The technology can be supplemented with photoseparators or paddy separators, separating materials based on different colouring or different coefficient of friction. De-stoners are also included in the complete line. The company also offers four product lines of peelers/dehullers that are functional for almost all types of crops. The basic range of machines is complemented by triers, used for example by sowing seed companies, open separators for wetter products and poppy seeds, or various types of conveyors.
