Our sales director, Michal Kukula, was interviewed by weekly “FARMER” in the section “Topic of the week”. Mr. Kukula described history, development and product range of the JK Machinery, s.r.o., also trends in post-harvest processing.
JK Machinery, s.r.o., based in Prague and manufacturing facilities in the Tábor region, has many years of experience in the development and production of grain cleaners and other machines for post-harvest processing for various commodities. Recently, there was acquisition of company STROJÍRNA TÁBOR, spol. s r.o., and thus to strengthen the production capacity and growth of the company. Product range was expanded to include conveyors, ventilation and silo ventilation, gravity conveying elements and other components for post-harvest processing. The article presents the entire product range of the company, from cleaners to dehullers, including indicative performance. Production program is constantly developing according to the needs and trends in agriculture market.Cleaning and sorting is no longer just a matter of the stationary line in the hall. JK Machinery is currently preparing mobile cleaners. The smaller version is based on the JCC Vibro Compact and will be mounted on an Agados trailer, including spare screens and collapsible conveyors, it can also have its own diesel engine. The larger mobile cleaner with JCM VibroMAX is being prepared for a UK business partner. A frequently mentioned trend is the feed proteinisation as a substitute for genetically modified soybean The substitute crop can be, for example, rape, lupine, bean and oats. By separating the husks from the core, the proportion of proteins can be increased, and further processing, for example, by compression or chemical extraction, yields a highly protein product comparable to soybean.
