In the 32nd edition of FARMER, an article about hemp seeds processing and examples of our realizations on this topic was published as the topic of the week.

The first part of the article mentions the ability of our company JK Machinery to adapt to the customers conditions and requirements. This year we developed and implemented a hemp seeds cleaning and dehulling line, for example in Finland, earlier years in Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

The next part of the article deals with a specific hemp seeds dehulling line in Finland, where our head of technical department Ing. Miroslav Gale, provided more information. He stated that it is a fully continuous and automated line controlled by a computer. The whole process takes place here, from the input of the material to the final product. This line was delivered for Trans Farm Oy, one of Finland’s largest cumin processors. With this hemp seeds line, they expanded their portfolio with this promising commodity. The line starts with seed calibration, followed by dehulling on an Impact dehuller JHI 05.02 PRO, then cleaning of dehulled seeds and separation of husks on a Cleaner VibroMAX JCM 10133 and final cleaning on a Concentrator JGC 08. The total line performance is currently 1,5 t/h, but the line was designed so that it is easy to increase this capacity.

The article also mentions the implementation of a hemp seed dehulling line in Switzerland, in 2020, for AlpenPionier AG. Where the performance requirement was lower, 1 t/h, and overall the line is simpler by not being continuous. In the Czech Republic, a hemp seed dehulling line was implemented in 2018, for the customer KonoPro s. r. o., With a final purity of 99,5% and an performance of 0,5 t/h.

The article concludes that our company focuses not only on the supply of equipment or technological units, but also on long-term cooperation with its customers.
